Just been reading about China and their new radio telescope that is 500m in diameter which dwarfs the now second largest in Puerto Rico (305m)

That is impressive, wonder how much power that will take to run? Enough for a small city I would guess!
 
Am impressed +++. Chinese are fast learners and skilled, combined with absolute government power and endless money supply. Seems they can build anything they can think of. Thinking back to the 1970's, what an evolution from Mao's red hordes destroying everything in their path.

Hopefully they was offered money that made moving worth it. Cos it looked nice :)
