Hi,

I'm sorry if this question is very "newbie" like but I'm considering buying a Dreambox 7020 and I was wondering what encriptions can it open now - I've seen some rumours some of the latest versions of various encrip. cannot be opened anymore with a dreambox - is that true? Assuming I keep it updated with the latest keys, etc. which of the following can still be decoded using a dreambox?

Conax
Irdeto 1, 2
Viaccess 1, 2
Cryptoworks
Negravision A
etc

But from my experience a cam will open some stations and not others with the same encryption. Don't know why.

If you are going to buy one I would suggest doing a search for the best price (Kelkoo.de) and then find a dealer who speaks english and replies to emails.

Have a look at the 7000 as well a lot of help around for this box.

Yes they are - a quick search will find them - for the best price try the German sites.
 
Buy mine from me :P make an offer. I will even fit it with a 120gb hdd.
