Aaah, thanks for that..I was just concerned it wasn't official, and after a few days al lyou'd be left with is a CAM you'd need to spend more money on to get any use out of it. You see, I'm old enough to remember the 'Red Hot Dutch' scam, so once bitten twice shy!!

Yep, s_x View Plus holds no fears here...variety is ,after all, the spice of life!! Not really a fan of all the 'perfect and plastic' American approach to mature content, you seeO-Ha
 
Red Hot Dutch was not a scam as such, proscription in the UK on 'foreign erotic' TV of the nature of Red Hot was its downfall.

For the first few months of the broadcast I recall two films per night with a Playboy type interlude with some very entertaining content, all for the price of ten components and battery to generate a sync pulse.

Those were the days

I lost money on it..ergo..it was a scam!!!O-Ha

The channels these days seem to have been around for a good period, so I suppose a subscription isn't as big a gamble..anyone got any recommends of a good reliable supplier in the UK, preferrably in the north west?

i don't know about the north west mate but i followed razor's advice and i found that the site that he suggested is the most competetive. i have just placed my order and waiting impatiently for the card to be delivered. i just follow the two gurus - Razor and Channel Hopper and i have no worries. trust them mate! they know what they are talking about !

I see adds for it in What Sat mag and it is always around £145+£5 for p&p.

On their site it is 259euro so looks like you did well.
BTW I did check the site before I sent you and saw that they where giving a good deal.

Bit concerned about sat-shop's online ordering..it's asking for all personal details on a non-secure page-maybe the next page where you fill in your card details will be encrypted but even so, name, address, postcode and telephone number on an unencrypted page is a bit dodgy.
 
@ pornlover ....I do not have a SV card, there are many CH channels on 13E, If I where to buy a card, SV would be my choise. SCT is also not bad, but maybe has to much mature content stuff for me. Both these channels have been around fo a long time, so are not likely to go bust so your 12months are asured.

@ inabsentia.....For a company to have a BANNER or add on a sat forum can bring good rewards and cash their way. This is especially true if the MODs on the board are directing customers to them. They have more to gain by looking after the people we send them over the long term, then ripping of pornlover for his £140. If they mistreat anyone, that person can go to a MOD and ask for help. Also any really bad behaviour by them might see their add removed, so losing them more money over the longer term.

would be really happy to reassure u definitely. if i remember correctly the payment is thru paypal and your credit card details are definitely safe as they have a secure site. however i can only speak for mysef. BTW the home page of the sat-shop site says clearly 'click here to enter our secure online store' does it not?

i have a basic model supermax 6000plus which has no card. can you tell me how can i watch the coded chanels with out using acces card? is there any code or frequence to free the coded chanells?

But there are a couple of channels on 30W with more than the usual pink dangly bits which dont need a card to view
