A few huge lightning forks ..that almost restored daylight briefly ....and the last one was followed by a thunderclap that shook the house...
Nice ...but the onset was too rapid to run around in the rain and disconnect all the dishes and lnbs ..
time to cross fingers and hope for the best ..
;)

They said it'd be thundery here this afternoon, I ignored that prediction and played out in the shed, no storms happened, was quite a boring day weather-wise all in all round here, just hot, muggy and cloudy...

Huh? What severe weather?

It'll come ...... I've just hung out the washing.

The Sun has just come out here after 24 hours of rain & a few thunder rumbles but nothing serious.

No rain for about 2 weeks here. Could get used to this. Heavy showers passed to the south and north of us yesterday according to Rain Alarm.

We had quite a lot of lightning over Heathrow last night. It was something to watch while waiting for a plane that was delayed by an hour (unrelated to the weather). Very heavy rain on the M4 on the way home too, some lanes where flooded.

Surprisingly we didn't get much of a deluge with the light show ...but I guess someone more South and West did ..
