Ok ..so recently we have seen everything lockable (regular programming) leave Intelsat 1R at 50 west ..
Putting back my sat positions into the Vbox after recent realignment of Christina ..
I wasn't expecting to have anything at this point on the arc to restore 1R ..
Errrr no ...unless I'm wayyy off target ..there's this little multimux with one clear info card ..the rest encrypted.
Id appreciate if one of you Cbanders could confirm this for me ..
Not listed anywhere ..so any help appreciated.

Ok popped in a plate ...and no signal on H (left) but goes up from 4db to over 7db V (right)
Now I'm more confused than ever ..
Could it be I'm on 53 West ??
nothing else around this area in circular ?
UNLESS its NSS806 @47 West ...
just possible I guess.
Anyone ?

I'd guess around 47w too. Definitely CR polarised.

Thanks Huevos ...
So looks like NSS806 is in service.
Looks like I'll be adding a new sat posn to Christinas Vbox
;)

certainly right circular -- but it seems to be where in the past i,v had 53 west logged , -- jack is just about full out at this position so not at its most accurate .

Definately not 53 West Nelson..
I know this cos I've now logged Africable back in @53 West ..
Then input the MTN parameters into the F15 without moving Christina..and Nothing at all ..so it is definately a different bird

Thank you, Vipersan, for finding NSS 806 @47,5°W (4164 R 10,3dB )

Another one on 4172 R 4000 with continuous stream (13,3dB )

Thanks for the extra confirmation Edgar..
appreciated buddy

Just curious folks if those tp would be a hemi spot beam as they were previously at 40.5w? I'm moving the 2.4m solid over now and giving it a shot.

Jackpot! My x2 premium scans in the 4164 tp with 60% signal quality but no signal on 4172. A blind scan only yielded that one tp.

Logged it here as well but signal quite weak.

Can someone check frequency 4096-ish? I am getting a reading but it won't lock... Not sure if it's linear, though, as I get the same reading on V/R and H/L polarity with the plate in. Definitely coming off 47.5W and not 50W or 45W...

The TP isn't listed anywhere..

Hi CJ. I just checked and there are 2 signals on 47.5w. One is vertical @ -40dbm. It is a data TP. The other is horizontal @ -43dbm. It is data also. both were dvb-s2.

4095 R 30000 3/4 DVB-S2/8PSK, it is empty carrier.No data.
