I've now slightly modified the X-band feed for the parabolic antenna. I built a septum that's tuned to the correct waveguide size. We'll see how it improves on the 2.20m antenna compared to the first version. I'll test it this weekend.

The first test is very promising. I can rotate the LNB all the way around, and the MER remains constant in the circular range. I've positioned the dielectric perfectly. Now it's time to test it. I'm curious to see how it performs in RHCP polarity. It wasn't so good the last time I tried it.

Which signals in the X-band? Which satellites?
Any TV broadcast?
PS: X-band would be in the 7 GHz range, am I wrong?

I have attached a few pictures below of the Precision/Elite Antennas X-Band PF feed parts I have.
A couple of the pictures are photos of previous photos I took that got a bit crumpled.

The 1st picture gives the best idea of the quality and condition, the other pictures show the feed assembled.
They came as part of a job lot of components from the Elite Antennas disposal auction a few years ago, never been used/installed.

The feed parts are made from CNC machined aluminium and have some type of anodised coating.
I think I may have three or four complete feed assemblies.
