can you give an old man some help please.
I have just got a xcam with 102 on it
how do i upgrade it.
Whats the first thing i must do and how to do it try and keep it simple its all
new to me.Seen a lot of threads about xcam but dont no where to begin.

Have you got the loader Dad?

sorry rolfw dont have a loader dont no what it is.Do i need one to program
xcam if so what loader is it.Thanks. Dad.
 
It's a card with a serial connector. You can of course update the keys by using the remote control, but for the main software you do need the loader.

No, it is the dedicated X-CAM loader.

dad again not to sure what type of loader to get.
Ucas loader 1.3 or emulator 1 or 2 or logger+emulater will any of them do the job.Or can you tell me where to order one from and what to ask for.

Hi Dad, get hold of a clanzer mr loader card, easy to use and reasonable price, only problem I found is getting it to work on the com port on my pc
 
Hi, I have bought the same programmer but can't get it to work :-(
What cable do you use to connect to the CAM? A null cable or a serial cable?
