I have an Xtreme receiver HU model.
S/W = V01.05.00
H/W = V13.42.6D
Loader = V01.00.07.

I am very new to the satellite world. Can anyone tell me how I can update hardware and software and where can I find the relevant files.

Look for files on turkish boards your hardware id is the important thing here.
search for tnt2 +depo + kaon is a good idea.

my suggestion is that all you need to do is to connect u'r reciever to live feed and put u'r reciever in stand-by mode. it will automatically download u'r last software. Do let me know if that is working.
