Hi.

I have for sale my Xtrend ET9000 (Clarke-Tech ET9000) which is two and a half months old having been bought at the end of May 2011, still with over 9 months warranty remaining.

The unit comes with remote control, manual, all cables as shipped, purchase receipt, mint condition without any marks or blemishes and has had very little use in a non smoking household. Also comes with unmarked original box that was inside the shipping box.

I will ship it to to anywhere in the UK but not overseas, alternatively, it can be collected.

£280 collected or £290 delivered.

Payment can be either bank transfer, paypal gift or cash on collection (5 miles from J6/J7 M25)

NB: I am not interested in trades of any kind, strictly sale only.

The blind scan functionality is not as good as that offered by some other boxes. For example to do a complete blind scan of a satellite with this box you need to do it in 4 stages, ie, Hor-Low, Hor-High, Vert-Low, Vert-High. It does not process a full band blind scan of a satellite in one process. Other scanning modes are all perfect, ie, automatic scan and manual scan, it is just the specific blind scan that I cannot get on with whereby it requires 4 passes to do a full band scan of a satellite.

If it were not for the blind scan shortcomings I would keep it, the build quality is very good and the picture quality and tuner sensitivity are also very good.

Thats is typical of a Linux receiver. Its not a shortcoming, that's how Linux receivers blind-scan.

It's also nice that the symbol rate is configurable. Not many non-Linux receivers have any sort of useful control like that.

teeba,

Sorry, your offer is a bit too low. The current list price is around £339 including delivery and considering it is only two and a half months old from brand new with over nine months warranty remaining I hope to get closer to the asking price.

Sent you PM with details and options for payment.

Would you like me to reflash the receiver with a clean ViX 2.2 image before packing it up. It is currently loaded with ViX 2.2 and a few channels that I scanned in from 1W?
