Yet another beginner asking for help

Hello everyone,

... yes, I've read the guides, I've read other threads, but it seems I'm not an average "idiot" :)

Ok; I just successfully flashed by DM7020S with Gemini 4.5, downloaded from the blue button cccam 6.10, and did a manual install of the latest satankeybundle (FTPed the satan.tar.gz to the /tmp and did a manual install from blue button).

Now, the only channels I get are CNN int., BBC int., and all those channels that I can get even with a system default setting.

Is there anyone who could give me a very high "low-level" hint of what I'm doing wrong or how should I do it?

I'm only getting (for now) HotBird 13.0E and most of the channels I'm interested in are on Sk It and GlobeCast.

Back on the "New-Wrold" I was getting DN on a ViewSat2000 Plat, but that was a child's play compared to all these DM stuff!!!

Sky Italia isn't open unless you buy a card or CS.

Premiere on 19.2 clears - can you view it?
 
Sorry for being late on following up! How ca I CS if I don't have a subscription? I don't think I can get one where I am.

What can I get with cccam and satankey?

C/S = card share. Either get together with a group of trusted friends and all buy one card, or buy into a commercial service (risky if it gets busted)

There isnt much open on keys at the moment - Premiere 19E went secure this week, TPS 13E is open intermittently, but is closing down anyway in a month or so. Polsat 13E may be open at the moment, although they are to upgrade their encryption in the near future.
 
Would also suggest HackSat key updater rather than satan, as satan has a habit of knackering Dreamboxes.

Get rid of satankeyupdater asap! If it cant connect to the server for any reason it has a nasty habit of trashing the image in use.

Its an evil bit of old coding that has no place on anyone s DB now. Use the hacksat plug in instead
 
Hot Bird 13E is full of packages.
The only problem is that you need to pay over 100% more than the "natives" pay in their own country.
If you are not prepared to be ripped off, then you can enjoy the FTA channels that this and other satellites can give you.
I almost bought a Sky Italia package last week, but got p****d off when the shop wouldn't accept payment by credit card.

Are`nt you able to get a sub in Russia? i.e RTVi as you can C/S any card.
