In my limited experience Netgear support are quite good - the PSU for one of my 8-way switches went US when well outside the warrantee period, and when I explained this to the Support guys, they sent me another one f.o.c. (never actually used it because I had another 12V PS which I had fitted when the first one went wrong, and never bothered to replace it). OTOH an expensive router is another matter!

Yeah it was an expensive router £130, they at least swapped my 3 month old faulty one for a brand new still sealed unit.

And it was supposed to be next day service for the courier.

It was just uk fail that delivered to the wrong house, in the wrong street!

Router is still working fine, my wifi printer/scanner has now packed up.

Never rely on wifi-connected peripherals - all of mine are cabled Fast/Gb units (courtesy of a decision to Cat 5E wire the whole house over a decade ago - lot of effort but it paid off!)!
