While I was riding the KZ 250 Limited and the Suzuki 500 I ran into a few of these!

Fraid I can't supply anything for this thread as, apart from a push-bike, I've never had a bike. In fact I've always been afraid of them as, no matter how careful you might be, there are too many car and van drivers out there that aren't.

Following the first car thread, got me thinking about bikes. Have had several, still love them and still have a Triumph 1200 Trophy in the garden, in need of repair, which will be done soon

The only bike that I ever rode was an old 250cc Royal Enfield Clipper in the 1960's.I cannot remember if it was mine or my brothers.

Edit found a pic of it .I am on the moped.:)

Mine was 50cc when I was around 12, obviously I used it on the fields, it would go for ever and a day, but the back mud guard fell off at the point where the indictors should go:(

Forgot to mention the Puch Maxi my mother gave me when she hit 60. She didn´t feel safe riding it any more.

1st Jap: Honda 50 (1975). 1st English: BSA A10
For anyone interested, my website & forum: http://www.a7a10.net/BSA/BSAGoldenFlash.htm
Of course many are interested. Perhaps you know of my dad. Dink Philpottts, also known as Dinky. Rode speedway for Southampton and Poole, also a grasstrack racer, died 1989, still holds the track record at Farley Castle, which will never be broken as they dont race there anymore
