My Satellite Setup
1.2 meter dish
technomate box

I can move the dish manually if I
want to change sat
But since the change over to digi
I find it difficult to find satellites
(must be the digi delay )

I think Im right in saying Im on astra 19 e

I used to watch Disco and another german pop show on ( I think ) ZDF documentary.

I got a new sat box a year or so ago and have done a search, got a ton of channels, but
dont seem to have come across the zdf doc channel
Im getting about 500 channels but the one I want aint there !!!

If I get really technical ... go outside and change the position of the
screw, I can also get 13 e !

that would explain things, but cant believe Ive not seen those shows in 2 whole
years, but ... that must be the case.

Wonder if replays of german pop shows like Disco are on any other
ftv channels ?
 
ZDF doku indeed became ZDF neo back in 2009... However I think at least the satelliter receivers that I have used do not update the channel's name automatically so you would have to rescan.
 
thanks for the info.... zdf neo .... I ll have to bear that in mind when I start wading
thru those 300 plus channels up there.

I may be wrong, but I think of zdf as Germanys equiv of the BBC .... i e public funded broadcasting !
 
There's also ARD - I think between them one is like BBC1 and the other BBC2. ARD (Das Erste) has also blossomed into a number of channels in the digital age.
 
Also, if you can find 3Sat which is on the same mux as ZDF they're showing rock concerts all day today.
 
zdf Kulture seems to be the one that runs old pop shows
saw a couple from around 83 last week
Good Friday there will be about 3 solid hours of them !
 
When on zdf kulture I hit teletext but its zdf teletext that comes up
I hit 300 and the television schedules are not zdf kulture.

is there any way of getting zdf tv schedules on the teletext ?
 
P700 gives an overview of where to look. 731 shows Kultur progs.
