A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I'm about to play with one of these.

It looks like a triple tuner (Cable/terrestrial and satellite), with an option of internal hard drive.

Will keep you posted.

And an update (it isn't mine btw.)

Bloody awful thing but the client appears to be fine with it, really watching only french TV on 5W despite having a motorised 1.1m dish outside with coverage from 55E to 30W and a bit more.

The issue now is the fitting of a hard drive inside. The 0.5mm thick aluminium support plate looks to have been cut to shape by a five year old and some tin snips, it has a universal set of connector leads in the zip bag and some screws that need washers to tighten down down fully.

I was going to use the same 2.5" platter hard drive that sits nicely in the SF4008 upstairs, but I can already see the gap isn't big enough without shaving off bits of plastic from both connector blocks.

There are also two sockets for the drive power on the motherboard, one nearest the front) does nothing, the rear one makes the drive buzz for a full two minutes during boot up.

as anyone successfully fitted a drive inside one of these and if so, which firmware makes it do its thing (current installed is Open ATV V.6.0)

Thanks in advance.

(Oh, and the remote control has a range of around 2 metres).
