Hello Experts.

I got my 6 years old connection activated with my provider. What I have
is irdeto 1 v5.0 (0605) (serial 401XXXXXXXXXX) activated for 45E. Those
days my tv provider had mpeg2 COSHIP CDVB5110 receiver.

Question 1. They have upgraded their system and currently they have
irdeto 2 mpeg4 receiver with card paired to the receiver. Will this be
an issue?

Question 2. Will there be any issues with irdeto 1 active card and their current system is running on irdeto 2?


Question 3. How do I test if my card is working ? is there any OSCAM/ CCCAM config for this card ?
 
PLease advise which channels you are wanting as your location is listed as the USA and as far as Im aware there is no service to the USA from 45E

If you are not in the USA please correct your location.

Pairing card to receiver is always an issue. If your receiver dies, all your recordings die with it.
 
I doubt you are going to get much info to be honest. We have very few active members in Sri Lanka.

However generally speaking:

Providers change their cards every few years to combat signal piracy. If there is a more up to date card for your service then the provider should supply one.

Cards are paired to a receiver to help secure the service against piracy - and to limit the use of none vendor supplied receivers.

Cant help you with the oscam configs - I cant remember seeing any but I dont bother with the sites that provide them much.
 
Ruwan, You can use MCAS patched receiver which give you pictures without issue. But if it does not work update you card on CCcam 2.3 .0 and do a re-scan

I Sri Lanka It is not possible but you can buy Manhattan LX1920 is the Best in Our Region. If you have anyone in Indonesia, that will be easy for you
