BBC Red Button summer streams up again

My Satellite Setup
TM 5402HD
Sky+ UK.
My Location
Scottish Borders
5 SD & 1 HD stream are testing on 12422H 27500.

The streams are (currently) labelled 6802 through to 6811, with 6811 being the HD stream.

ATM all of them are just showing the BBC RED BUTTON logo
 
how easy is it to get them on freesat box which can scan fta channels
 
If you hang on they'll show up in the channel lists. I think it's up in the 600s or 700s. The red button channels used to be in the 300s but they moved and I can't remember to where!

i think the red buttons channels will be after the other regional channels in the freesat epg but anyway i managed to get the streams scanned in via the fta mode on my humax hb-1000s.
 
They will be on the epg when the services launch properly.
 
Same place they were active last year.

why is it that these streams are the only channels on this transponder?
 
Thats just the way it is. Its been a long time BBC tp so maybe they keep it hired for occasional use.

12422H has always been on the European beam. Maybe its used to deliver the Wimbledon content to other broadcasters.
 
Why do you think it's european beam? 4.0db here when checked yesterday 3m

Ah Flysat has it on 2F UK beam. Fair enough. I hadnt bothered looking at the power levels on the transmission.
 
..... before the arrival of the current craft, which replaced 2A, B, C ,D and a couple of Eutelsat birds.
 
just a quick thing related to the red button streams, they appeared in freeview epg but still not in freesat epg

They will be added up in the 900s on the satellite platform epgs before Wimbledon or Glastonbury starts (whichever one comes first - neither interests me so I dont bother keeping up on the dates..

so the new streams will be after 981 on the freesat epg?
 
Dunno - I dont bother with epg numbers as I almost always use one of my fta boxes. The missus monopolises the Sky box :D

Chances are they will be somewhere around where they were last year.
