Another bunch of spam emails yesterday and last night: "Everest", "Dyson" "M&S" and so on

An interesting point about most of these is the sending email address actually has two address elements - "a" on behalf of "b", and so both addresses need to be added to junk/spam filters and so on

Neither the ISP's nor Kaspersky's Spam filters seem to be able to filter this crap out - OTOH, I/We seem to be "fair game" at the moment

Looks like another "BT" cold-calling/phishing scam showing up.

Over the last few days, been getting pre-recorded messages from "BT" with menu options from what purports to be an 0845...... number - funny because we don't have a BT line, or even use one because the phone is a dedicated VM cable from their local cabinet

Have to agree the phone scams are stepping up to overcome the new service launched by BT this year which is excellent, get a call from whoever, do not want one again dial 1572 and confirm number, but you must have answered it to do this.

Good info for anyone with a BT line but I doubt it works for people like us who don't - Anyone know if there is a similar service for VM phone customers?
