Problem.
When doing the search in 23'5ºE tune to 19'2ºE channels, it is a problem for some, that is why the verification that realizes and to see the bandwidth (automatic control of frequency), therefore sometimes it is necessary to put the data to hand and seek.
The 3Mhz of difference can be solved/taken into account, but the SR+1711, I ate it with potatoes.

When using the blind search on very close satellites, you will normally find channels that do not belong to the satellite.
It would be nice to be able to limit the search by frequency ranges, polarity, also filter the relationship of TP found with nearby satellites, 1º, 2º, so it is necessary the file satellites.xml where is the relation of TP's.
Some of us have this very personalized satellites.xml file because of this problem.

Al hacer la busqueda en 23'5ºE sintonice canales de 19'2ºE, es un problema para algunos, por eso la verificacion que realize y ver el ancho de banda (control automatico de frecuencia), por eso algunas veces es necesario poner los datos a mano y buscar.
Los 3Mhz de diferencia se puede solucionar, pero el SR+1711, se lo comio con patatas.

Al usar la busqueda ciega en satelites muy proximos, normalmente encontraras canales que no pertenecen al satelite.
Seria bueno poder limitar la busqueda por margenes de frecuencia, de polaridad, tambien filtar la relacion de TP que encuentre con satelites proximos, 1º, 2º, por eso es necesario el fichero satellites.xml donde esta la relacion de TP's.
Algunos tenemos este fichero satellites.xml muy personalizados por este problema.

Does the latest software update OCTAGON SX88 H.265 HEVC HD | Octagon-Germany.eu include all the previous ones?
So once installed we are right up to date?
If it doesn't and you miss one that is not good.

I understand your problem.
It's true that with a relatively small antenna during the blindscan you can find
the frequencies of adjacent satellites.
The Sx88 can do than a full Blindscan, without possibility to limit the search (do not forget that it is a receiver for only € 75)
however we can't go satellites. xml (this receiver is not E2; Fortunately, because he would not likely still have BS)
it takes just to early to do his own frequency list and then put it on a USB memory

Please:
DD+, fix recordings, tuner is switch on even after the decoder is off, and fix subtitles on russian T2-mi and french HD channels and wefif with remote play channel ability on LAN.....
For the rest it is really the best value for money Decoder around.

Great addition to Ka LOF's and the very well updated satellite list, even 19E Ka is now a separate satellite from Ku along with 16E, 4.9E, 23E and 7E..excellent! keep up the good work Octagon!!

Have you tried a Ka Hughes lnb Chris with the LOF of 17.350 for correct scanning ?.

As far as I'm concerned this is proving to be a great little receiver. At least Octagon engineers are listening and rectifying the software as we find problems. Hopefully DD+ will come. Pity Technomate don't do the same!

Engineers are not dealing with everyday problems....!
Letting alone DD+, but subtitles, recordings ..... are not yet good....

a REAL WEBIF... only a dream....

please fix them

I'm looking at buying this box. May I ask what the issue is with recordings as I hope to record to an external hard drive?

First, my saved firmware x.04 has no great problems to record but the new ones have some problems, I think to have reported it in the past with details.
Anyhow, I have to leave it on to record with timer...

all the improvements that are coming through the Octagon
which is in constant contact with engineers
and what ist it ?
it is not improvements for the use of every day ?
-added Ka Band
-added 16 satellites
- extended satellite max number to 250
- extended TP max number to 10000
- extended TP max number of one satellite to 400
- Solved Multistream issue on Hispasat 30W

you have a U2C Denys
why do not you ask U2C ?
perhaps that they are going to be in charge of these problems of recording with subtiles.
