Very strong crosswinds on the roads today: Just got back from a family get together on "the other side" (Wilmslow) and there must have been a Centre-lane Owners club convention today judging by the sheer number of morons insistent upon reducing M1, M62 and M60 traffic flows by doggedly refusing to acknowledge their obligation to return to the leftmost lane when safe to do so. It really is infuriating

The kitchen barometer was displaying a rather low number earlier, then I noticed there was a dead spider in the mechanism.

Interesting! I've always parked the dish at 1W so that its at the centre point rather than twisted at an angle, like it usually is when situated on 42E for example.

I asked on here some years ago and that was what was suggested, the back of the dish facing the wind. I think if its sideways on it can cause an effect like an aeroplane wing. Not really sure.
