11426 v 5/6 27500 dvbs-2
many temporary fta channels
a lot with English sound

I know the SVT channels are easily available in EMU on 4.8°E if you're able to receive the Nordic beam, but over on Thor, SVT2 Jämtland seems to be currently FTA. Showing network SVT2 programming as far as I can tell and not an opt-out.

RTE One is currently clear. Most unusual to see this one fta!

i used to live in County Dublin. they have always shown Eastenders often starting a few mins earlier then BBC One & complete with adverts mid program & repeated the next day. TV3 shows Coronation Street & Emmerdale in a similar way

i hope to catch something more ...Irish,they must have interesting music I hope
Anyway it s one of the countries i have always wanted to watch...

Make the most of the opportunity. This is a temporary glitch.

My idea is,they must have wonderful programs for us to enjoy

the Irish seem to have hidden back behind their green wall... until Saint Patrick maybe?

I’ve always thought it’s a pity they don’t have a version of it available in the UK anyway.

If they did similar to the RAI channels on 13°E where only programmes they have the rights for are FTA, even if it just meant ‘available via English/Welsh/Scottish Sky cards’ in this case. Seeing as on the RTÉ Player online they already do this!

if you get a Northern Ireland sub you'l get RTE One, RTE One+1, RTE Two HD, RTE Two, RTEjr & TG4

ok and is that"sky basic" how much does it cost?

£20 a month. you'l have to sign up using your real UK address to receive your viewing card. then once you have your viewing card Google an address in Northern Ireland & add a street number. so if houses stop at number 28 for example say you'v moved into a new build at number 30 but you'l need a real postcode or it wont work, Royal Mail's Postcode and Address Finder is your friend. people move into new builds all the time that dont show up, so Sky wont have a clue. wont cost anymore then a standard UK sub & you wont be billed in euros (which costs more) like you would with an irish sub. the irish terrestrials are behind Sky's pay TV wall & you cant get them without a sub. 100% works iv done it myself when i had a Sky sub & for family members, theres also trends about it on other forums
