At least one of the BBC HD tp's will be changing fec in the near future. FEC 2/3 will be changed to FEC 3/4 to accomodate the forthcoming new BBC HD services. (BBC2 Wales & BBC Scotland)

This may cause issues for ultra marginal fringe setups where there isnt much resilience in the current signal. Plus for some Panasonic integrated tv's that had problems when ITV changed fec a while back.

EDIT - Originally the article gave an incorrect fec of 5/6 - changed to provide the correct info A/S

Another FEC up by the BBC.

Time to do whatever's necessary to provide HD versions of BBC1 for the English Regions.

FEC 2/3 will be changed to FEC 5/6
Although the article says 3/4...a bit more generous than 5/6. where did you get 5/6 from?

Ah...maybe you got it before the article was updated " Updated 16/10/2018 16:57 and 18:06 following confirmation of the revised satellite parameters that the BBC will apply. It has been confirmed that the initial parameters published by the BBC contained an error. "

Coincidentally, I just noticed the FEC change to 3/4 on the 10847V transponder, because it was off for a couple of minutes!
Edit: 11023H became FEC 3/4 as well, later on.
