Does anyone know if there are any receivers that can do Symbol rates in kS/s ranges below 1000,
I know that some PCI cards can do it, but are there any receivers that are able to go really low in the 100's range?

I think the Dreambox DM920 goes low. There are some posts about it on one of the threads.

Wonder what that Hellobox you bought goes down to?

North of Madrid (28703 Spain) -3Km of IKEA (40.545847, -3.612012).:-)
The old Dreambox800S-HD (clon) radio channels up to SR333.
In Hispasat very well SR700 radio channels (they are no longer).

VU+DUO2 SR1500 (blind search ok).
Up to 1000 if I put a list of DreamBox800S-HD channels and wait 2 minutes for the radio channel to open.

It all depends on the tuner's capabilities provided the driver used supports very low SR.
Here's the Silabs tuner on my HD51 with the same SR 274, needs about 20 seconds to lock. The TRT radios on 42E with about 300 SR lock much faster.

In your case I'd wait a little bit, I heard there's a new 4K receiver coming that will shake things up...

The big advantage of the SX6 Openbox: it finds this frequency with the blindscan (but it is not an E2)

I'm going to try the Edision Primo IP S2 today and see what that goes down to.

It will also depend heavily on the stability of both the outdoor equipment and the optimum amount of useable signal into the front end of the tuner.

A narrow band LNB will have better selectivity for the receiver to pull low SR channels out of the total band, a tuned ported feed assembly with mechanical polarising being a better option to a universal LNB.

True, the conversation though was about receivers/tuners. Granted, the equipment is key, but if the tuner is unable to pull low SRs it's no use.

The ability of a tuner to receive anything is determined by multiple parameters, not just the outside equipment, nor the signal levels.

Many times before now, the hardware within the receiver can work outside the original tuner manufacturers specification by careful software application of the full demodulator circuitry, and quality batches of components in the power supply giving a good regulation of the voltage rails.

Changing the saw filters within the tuner has also allowed improvements in reception, but my experience was around 20 years ago, when the demodulator was just one part of a combined chipset, and DVB-S2 was just a dream.

And if the device doesn't have the ability in the software to select or detect low SR's it's also no use. Even if the tuner is capable.

Yes, many parameters take part! Luckily Enigma2's code allows multiple selection options, provided the hardware and software/driver combo is up to par.

I’ll pull a couple of really old receivers out of the shed later today and see what they can cope with.
