Make sure you double check the measurements of what you receive before you install it :) especially arm length.

Please explain bit more about arm length
It’s going to be standard length or adjustable

Hi gladstones

I got mine through hisat he is a stockist of gibertini
OTOH, Hisat seems to, "occasionaly" have been a supplier of "bitza kits" - so one should "tread carefully" with that company and very carefully check out out any kit bought from them.

I bought mine a long time ago from there roughly 10 years ago

AFAIK, no sat dish kits have adjustable length feedarms - @Red alert's link referred to the fact that HM-sat in Germany sent him a dish kit with the wrong-length feedarm, and that resulted in that VERY protracted thread on the issues that he was facing, until it was finally established that HM-sat had sent a shorter arm than they should have (it was for a smaller dish in the same Gibertini range!)!

Can anyone please explain how does lnb skew works on motorised dish

Where to buy Inverto black ultra lnb
Better to buy single or double feed

When the motor/dish is set up, at 0, the LNB skew is zero, then as the motor rotates, the dish turns slightly, matching the LNB skew, for each satellite, so once set up, correctly, you don't need to worry about it.

Whether you get a LNB with 1, 2, 4, or even 8 outputs, depends on you, and how many cables you require. Some receivers are capable of having multiple tuners, allowing you to record channels and still view others, on the satellite your motorized dish is pointed at. Equally you might want a feed going to other rooms, in the house, where you have other satellite receivers.

Most of this is basic, for a satellite dish, and information is available, in various guides, on the forum, or via a quick internet search.

For most people, a single or a twin LNB is adequate - 4-way & 8-way LNBs are generally overkill on a steerable dish, and the 8-way is comparatively large and heavy as well. Also, the more LNBs in a single housing, the more fiddly it is to attach and seal the F-connectors on the cables.

Many Inverto Black LNBs on Amazon, eBay, and of course, from most on-line satellite shops

Why is so many octagon sx 88 + like Se , wl and so on
What about sf8008 any good read that it has lot of software bugs

found the answer about SX88 types
Octagon SX88 SE , SX 88 4K or Octagon SF 8008 which is good pick read that SF 8008 has lot of software bugs

what is Multi stream how do this work any available channels i researched it but i can't get my head around it.
how do you people tune to different sats as on fixed system.
1. satellite finder meter needle type
2. digital type like Satlink WS-6906
3. Tv insight old method

Multi stream is just a way of distributing tv & radio in a way which is ready to be rebroadcast on a terrestrial network. For example on 5w the multi streams are for the french & italian equivalents of freeview. Don't expect the italian multi streams to be available for long though, they're moving to 9e on a beam not easily, if at all receivable here.

A digital type meter is handy, just don't expect good battery life or an easy to read screen in sunlight on the lower priced models.

I like the inverto black ultra twin, one output to go to the receiver, the other output ready for use with a meter without having to faff on.

Personally, it's a combination of No 1 (but an older one with an series of LEDs to incate the existance, and "stregth" of a signal but no sat or transponder info), and 3) a smallish TV (actually the one from SWMBO's bedroom as she never used it!) to get a "picture" and then to fine tune the dish for best SS & SQ.

I do have a WS-6906 but found it to be more trouble than it was worth because of the need to install an up-to-date sat/transponder/channels database, and the difficulties of reading it outdoors (and a few other issues).

Octagon sx88 se , sx88 4K or sf8008
What’s the best
Don’t like iptv or streaming
Like pure sat. Receiver
