Advice Needed which c band lnb?

My Satellite Setup
channel master 1.8m motorised on c band,ku band,1.2 metre prime focus irte dish, 1.85cm offset mabo dish,vu+duo & 42 HD lcd tv
My Location
ireland
hi guys been looking on the following site,but unsure which c band lnb to purchase any help or advice please.
its going on a 1.8m offset dish and i ve the offset feedhorn.

Have a look at these cheepies on Ali Express, shipping is cheap enough and the LNB's are also cheap.
All you want is a twin probe C-Band LNB with that covers the frequency range of 3.4GHz to 4.2GHz or 3.7GHz to 4.2GHz.

Other options would be to buy something similar from the UK (Satellite Superstore) or USA (Ricks Satellite of Titanium Satellite)
 
I think a 1.8 metre dish would be a bit too weak or small for "C" band, a 2 metre dish would be better, but I get almost all the "C" band satellites on my side of the world (that I can see from my location) on a 3 metre dish, with a dual band (C and Ku) LNB, best of both worlds.
 
a 1.8m channel master offset is very high gain and as good as any 2m dish,have a friend with a 80cm picking up russian channels on 40.e c band so there is plenty to be had on a 1.8m i think.

Nothing wrong with a tin dish The C-band Tin-Dish challenge
As long as you don't leave it in the rain for too long, the price/performance ratio is hard to beat for C band (or X-band)

To the original question; Not the best (like Norsat/SMW etc) the Titanium LNB range are OK e.g. Titanium Satellite - Store Now more expensive as they aren't sold from UK any more.
 
Speaking from experience..My Famaval PF1.8 way outperforms a Channel Master 1.8 offset on C Band..

Well, thank you for the invite.

My Personal opinion is that a 1.8m Channel Master will not perform as well as a 2.0m Precision Antennas spun aluminium dish subject to both dishes being correctly aligned.
The Precision dish has approximately 20% more surface area to gather the signal and its parabolic profile is accurate. It simply has too much advantage going its way.

I had this setup 1.8 c.m.webp on my c.m. 1.8 offset for many years - ( one C band circular and one C band linear l.n.b ) alongside the K/u with good results from many C band satellites ... some transponders on weak satellites are always out of reach - even on a 3 metre dish ... l.o.l.

hi nelson cheers for the pic and reply,had you a jack actuator on the back of that for declination control ?.
 
any of you guys ever hear of a mabo 1.85m offset dish i currently have it up and running here about 2 years,think the were made in poland im not sure.anyone else familar with them?.there a aluminium dish.

Hi - Yes i did have a jack installed ... it controlled the elevation rather than the declination .... it was an easier conversion to do at the time ... and did the fine tuning needed quite nicely, once i had the jack positions logged for the various Sats
