Yes i was going to say , you need to flash it to the latest, there is an improvement but still not bug free.
Shout up for help if needed as it can be a bit querky to drive it.

getting there so far thanks @John - its done 2 updates, an August one, then a November one...

Yep that's right - just waiting for the latest one to arrive after forwarding some buggy bits and added requests a few weeks ago

It is a ts file. And no, one file per recording. It's documented that the PVR is not working correctly, but after the last firmware update it seemed to work, obviously not....
Just out of curiosity try playing that file through VLC. Most of those boxes are not equipped with the proper codecs to play anything other than the the most popular streams. Manufacturer claims are one thing. Practicalities are another.

If you examine that recording on a computer you’ll probably find that it in fact creates three files. You’ll be quickly able to see if the video portion of the recording is missing.

I’ve recorded Al Forat channel playing only audio in ProgDVB yet the file played back via VLC displays video with all the relevant info. I can simply stream the TS from ProgDVB to VLC instead of using ProgDVB’s own player and it plays fine.

A few things that suit 'Feedhunter' / 'Experimenter' related really - 'User LO' input option / selectable blind scan range / Adding 'L' - 'R' to polarity menu /

My Combo arrived yesterday and last night I watched a Polish 4:2:2 feed on the 33E. It was a bit jumpy but it did work. Now I accidently ordered two Combos. So if someone fancies having the other one-brand new and unboxed- PM me please.

Much better luck receiving a 4:2:2 signal this afternoon on 10E 11438H s/r=15000. By the way I'm open to offers on that second box. PM me if interested.

7E & 10E are a good fishing ground for 4:2:2 sigs Simon :Y

Surprised it hasn’t been snapped up by now. There was a bit of a GT Media Combo feeding frenzy earlier last week. I assume anyone who is waiting for one is happy enough it’s on its way.

You could buy it Satspot...

Or they would end up with two also.

Or they will end up with two and have to sell on .....

Perhaps those forum members who own both the M4 and the GTMedia Combo could give us their feedback on how the Combo stacks up against the M4?
For me with the 'extras' the Combo can do, plus 4K and price...no contest!
