Latest news / Turkmenalam's new transponder parameters have been finalised.

According to the latest information I received, the new transponder parameters are currently final and will not change.

The new frequency of Turkmanalem satellite is as follows:

Frequency 10762
POL Horizontal
symbol rate 30000
Freq Type DVB-S2

In the following phases, many new channels will be added to this transponder, which we will share with you in exclusive news releases

Picture OK here on the SX88+ rock steady.
 
Occasional picture freezing here on the Aussie drifting and now a dodgy 60hz-to-50hz conversion on Formula Drift that's on now.
 
Ah good so its not just my kit. There must be something in the transmission some receivers dont like.

has decided on the following change:

Following the poll conducted last night, it has been decided that the Persiana Medical channel, which has been on air on the new transponder Turkmenalam for a few days, will be replaced by the Latino channel.

Health and health content will be added to the Science channel.

The name on the receivers is still Persiana Medical and is likely to change in the next few hours.

HEVC Test Video Pid= 3001 Audio Pid=302 (1920 x 1080) 60% SQ
4K Test Video pid= 801 Audio Pid=802 (3840 x 2160) 60% SQ

Both transmissions are rock steady on my SX88 UHD receiver with a 88cm mesh dish.
