astra 1p 19.2e

From the 12:40 UTC control, when the satellites of the Astra fleet are a little distant from each other, it is possible to see in more detail the signals of the various transponders from which satellite they are emitted.

does TXP-2 not come from the 1KR?
The Txp-2 was on 1L, the various websites erroneously reported it on 1KR.

I'll give you an example even if it's a bit off topic, the transponder 159 11681 H of Hotbird, has been transferred to 13F for almost a year and they still report it on 13G... because they didn't notice the change.

What I report is the result of my measurements, I even made several, before stating which satellite it comes from.

I thought that 1Q will be fully configurable while in orbit for both wide beam and spot beams in KU band too.

Yes, I think you are probably right. With Sky and Freesat planning to close down their satellite services around 2029/2030 we've still got a few years left. However, I would rather lose access to British channels than pay anything to Musk...
yep, they could probably keep 2G going until around 2035 for a reduced freesat service

Between 3:15 and 4:05 UTC, the following transponders were transferred.

Txp-57 10832 H 1M --> 1P
Txp-40 11068 V 1L --> 1P
Txp-41 11082 H 1KR --> 1N
Txp-12 11377 V 1L --> 1P
Txp-20 11509 V 1L --> 1P
Txp-22 11538 V 1L --> 1P
Txp-89 12188 H 1L --> 1P
Txp-91 12227 H 1L --> 1P

The Astra 1KR and 1L satellites appear to be completely empty. I will do further checks in the next few hours, for further confirmation.

The current transponder arrangement should be this.

I observed switching activity on
Tp 91 (SES) at 03:15 UTC,
Tp 89 (RTL) at 03:22 UTC
Tp 20 (Globecast) at 04:00 UTC
Tp12 (TSA) at 04:45 UTC
Tp 40 (TSA) at 04:59 UTC

additionaly a change of signal strength on Tp 41 (Sky D) at 03:35 UTC on Tp 57 (SES/HD+) at 03:55 UTC

Yes, you are right, transponders 12 and 40 were switched after the time I indicated.. I apologize, too many things to check and I got confused.

Txp-91 3:15 UTC
Txp-89 3:22 UTC
Txp-41 3:35 UTC
Txp-57 3:54 UTC
Txp-22 4:00 UTC
Txp-20 4:05 UTC
Txp-12 4:46 UTC
Txp-40 4:49 UTC

The transponder 12 and 40 suffered further interruptions until 5:03 UTC. I have everything saved in the spectrum screenshots.

1KR 1 tp
1L 2 TP
1M 22 TP
1N 27 TP
1p 38 TP

actual tp after last night
There are no more MCPC ("muxes") channels left on 1KR and 1L. It's unclear to the transponders 1, 9, 16 and 18 which are used for SCPC / feeds.
As Markus_21 mentioned, it's difficult to do measurements on feeds, as they are emitted for short periods of time where the constellation of satellites needs to be appropriate.

After the clearing of 1KR and 1L it's time for 1M to be migrated. Let's wait and see, if SES starts migration 1M to 1P and 1M to 1N from now on or at a later time.

I think it's worth mentioning that the ASTRA-"A-Band" 11.20-11.45 is without in orbit backup when 1KR and 1L leave 19.2 deg east. As far as I know, there is no A-Band on 1M and 1N.

What about 11141 H tp 45 Data ? Has closed its transmission ?
It's still active/Toda via esta activo.
TP45 Fre.-11141 Н 23500 3/4 DVB-S2X/8PSK 90cm and 80cm fixed ok.

I have added this tp with its parameters in the satellites.xml file, that is why it is as a predefined transponder.

Tengo añadido este tp con sus parámetros en el fichero satellites.xml, por eso esta como transpondedor predefinido.

80cm fixed -DiSEqC 4x1.
