astra 1p 19.2e

according to 1m data it's lifetime is finished. The SES operator must do the switch asap.
You dont want to read too much into that those figures are only a nominal estimate - the limiting factor these days is not electronics failure but how much station keeping propellant is available on board. If the station keeping fuel hasnt been depleted too far 1M could have several years useful service at 19E left yet.

There have been cases in recent years where satellites have been in service for more than 30 years, although running heavily inclined & only used for feeds or specialist comms purposes

I think 1m have more life time

referring to mr. Marcus_21'
reply number 449 1m enters inclined orbit

Its still got a couple of years useful service as as geo bird - the inclination wont affect direct to home transmissions just yet.

However its likely to be withdrawn & sent elsewhere SES need a slot filling in the near future

Between 3:03 and 3:29 UTC, the following transponders were transferred from Astra 1M to Astra 1P:

Txp-74 11895 V Astra 1M --> 1P
Txp-76 11934 V Astra 1M --> 1P
Txp-80 12012 V Astra 1M --> 1P
Txp-82 21051 V Astra 1M --> 1P

How do I get this one? ? Txp-82 21051 V Astra 1M --> 1P
my receiver won t go beyond 12999....Must be 12051....

Sorry... yes it's 12051 V.

Edit... these are the measurements at 10:00 UTC, where the transponders on Astra 1P can be seen.

In the last few days, there have been several feeds, on transponders 9,24,26,28,30 and 32. So I was able to make measurements, to establish from which satellite they are emitted.

Txp-9 = 1P
Txp-24 = 1M
Txp-26 = 1P
Txp-28 = 1M
Txp-30 = 1N
Txp-32 = 1N
is TP No 22 also going to be moved?
