astra 1p 19.2e

This morning at 8:13 to 8:34 UTC, 4 transponders were turned off (3 of Astra 1M and one of Astra 1N). All transponders were used for feed or data.

according to Astra 1M at 19.2°E - LyngSat , are there still 3 transponders active

12110H
12422H
12460H

The 3 transponders you mentioned are all on Astra 1N. I repeat from my measurements, Astra 1M no longer has active transponders that transmit 24 hours a day, perhaps only those for occasional feeds remain (Txp-18, Txp-24, Txp-27, Txp-28).

I attach a file of the check carried out this morning at 4:00 UTC (6:00 CEST). When Astra 1M, 1N and 1P were far from each other.

@2night don't depond on Lungsat or Flysat there are still a lot of information Mistakes at both Sites
For example
Flysat say
11112 At (1P wide pan) but The truth still at 1N
11009 At (1P Europe pan ) but still at 1N
@Marcus_21 Measurments are so accurate And we cheek it From different Spots inside the coverage of Astra 19.2E and outside the coverage

Have you already sent them an update to publish it ?

When will the frequencies of Astra 1N be transferred to the new satellite Astra 1P?

I think 1N and 1P will work together, sharing the transponders and providing redundancy until 1Q arrives.

ABOUT ASTRA 1P & ASTRA 1Q

With a mission to augment and strengthen SES’s pan-European coverage at 19.2 degrees East, SES and Thales Alenia Space are working together on two new satellites – ASTRA 1P & ASTRA 1Q. ASTRA 1P was launched on 20 June 2024, while ASTRA 1Q is scheduled to launch in 2027.

By 2028, the satellites will seamlessly replace the current 19.2 degrees East fleet, continuing the delivery of premium content to 119 million TV households across Europe.
