Hi everyone,
I have an Ericsson RX1290 receiver with almost all licenses enabled (including BISS, HD, and other decoding features), but I'm running into a major issue: the unit always shows "NOT LOCKED", no matter what valid satellite feed I try. The same feed locks and plays perfectly fine on other receivers.
After some research and testing, I strongly suspect the unit is blocked or locked by a previous user (maybe due to a broadcast configuration or operator setup). I’ve already tried:
It seems like low-level access is restricted or disabled. I'm looking for any method, tool, or trick to fully unlock or reset the RX1290 to default clean mode — or at least bypass the restrictions.
If anyone here has experience with this unit in broadcast or contribution environments, I’d really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!

- Factory reset from the front panel
- Using the web interface (limited access)
- Connecting via Telnet/Putty, but I get no prompt or response at all
- FTP connection also fails completely
