TDA from Algeria is trying all satellites captable in MENA so it seems....

It looks like SES4 may be in trouble before 'end of life'. It was launched in 2012 and they usually last 15 years+ these days. Reuters TV on 15W as well as 22W and now TDA looking for another satellite. Or is it a commercial decision.

so,which sat will win a brand new Algerian mux????

btw, talking about Badr 26E,12073h 27500 remains impossible for me to receive... is there anything special about this TP?

Maybe interference from 4/5G in Band 32?

Anyone here able to catch the 12073h 27500 on 26E?

Good strength here but slightly varying up and down in strength , heavy overcast rain clouds but not raining , 17K North of the City of Nottingham UK, 2.2m PF.

There's also a good signal here (12073 H), 10,9 dB.

However, the other frequency (11785 V), which also broadcasts the TIVi5MONDE channel, is received very weakly but steadily because it's in DVB-S; if it were in DVB-S2, it wouldn't be blocked here.

with an 150 cm dish..; ok mine 's too small
With the same antenna size, here is how the signal is at 26.0E in my area, and not only on 12072 H.
You may be equally interested, as are all those who are interested in receiving BADR.

And because of this, I believe that with each reception report from different areas, we can approximate what is possible and what is not satellite reception in our area with our antennas, small or large. :)

Today, while updating Badr 8 at 26.0°E, I noticed the following, which is strange and can only be interference that the satellite may have.
The following happened: I stopped receiving frequencies from the NW Africa footprint:
12265 H
12265 H.webp
12284 V
12284 V.webp
12303 H
12303 H.webp

And incredibly, I am receiving two frequencies from the Central Asia footprint, which are 11881 H and 12322 V.26.0E-RFScan HORIZONTAL KU BAND.webp26.0E-RFScan VERTICAL KU BAND.webp11881 H.webp12322 V.webp
