Update of the name of 2 radio channels and another more JOYN, apart from the end of the fair channel.
The new JOYN Mediathek channel.
To start using Joyn, you need a compatible TV with an internet connection.
It is assumed that it also has a satellite tuner and clear, antenna to the Astra satellite at 19'2ºEast.

Encoder 1 and Encoder 2 are the same football match.
Encoder 2 is in 4:2:2 with a fixed camera.
Encoder 1 is 4:2:0.
Both BISS.

A pity NASA stopped their transmission.
It does seem to be limited to enthusiast stuff and gaming circles (there are many offerings on YouTube but it does require careful searching to get the true resolution) however I did pick up a UHD BluRay player a couple of years ago at a bargain price, then found some 4k discs in charity shops a short time later.
I have spent small amounts on a few films that do need to be seen in the best quality, only those I might watch multiple times though.

there's quite a bit of UHD on the streamers, but to prevent piracy they annoyingly often downgrade the picture to 1080p when watching on a PC

You tube ? Always shown in the definition sent if you force it. Perhaps the PC screen and circuitry (or broadband provider) is forcing the downgrade to save you ending up with a unwwatchable video.
Click settings and highest quality to see if you are being strangled at your end.
