Where to buy an Azbox?

Why would you want this box ?
Really bad support and probably obsolete these days.
 
Not if you want 4:2:2 support in a receiver it's not.
 
A lot of Chinese receivers are cheaply and badly made cloned junk.
 
glad your sorted mate it's a popular sat receiver in Spain so brush up on your Spanish and chat on a few Spanish forums. They properly have English sections so go and enjoy your receiver m8
 
Are you perhaps referring to its viability for getting reception of the 27.5W BBC stuff?
 
I rang the shop in Fulham Palace Road. Person there very helpful. Did say though that they weren't selling any at the moment because they are experiencing a software problem. Waiting for an update. I e mailed them direct and got no reply.
Anyone any ideas??!!

I had no luck there either. Next step was the Canadian distributors but they won't post outside US/Can. So I ended up in the satelliteguys.us forum and found a member who sold me one. It's in transit at the moment...fingers crossed!

Update....

I now have an AzBox MiniMe up 'n running - currently using openATV. Still pottering but pleased with progress. Any others using similar kit?
 
Would still like one... Any ideas where to get one?
 
How is the AzBox going? Still very tempted!
 
I can't really see the point of buying any AZBox as it does not really match the capabilities of any current enigma2 box - in other words too many drawbacks.

I am extremely grateful to all the efforts of the various teams to turn my AZBox into a useable slave receiver, but it has too many drawbacks to use as a main receiver.

It is a great pity, as the original AZBox HD Premium is a superb piece of hardware with features that are still unmatched in any current e2 box.
 
Please remember any sales should be carried out in a thread in the sales section so we know everything is transparent and above board.

Things can be taken to pm when a sale is agreed to exchange payment & address details. once we get to that stage we like one last post from each member to say things are ok.

We ask this to protect both members involved & the good name of the forum. (There have been a few issues over the years where things have been done solely via pm and something has gone wrong which leads to bad feeling).

Yes I use an AZbox Me with OpenATV 3.0 and the blindscan is very good but not perfect. ie on 36 East I get different channels found depending if I am searching with my Azbox Premuium or the Skybox F3

I am now waiting for an X2 premium HD, this is will apparently blow all these out of the water, 2 1/2 mins for a full blindscan etc
