No, arrival at 43.5 East not before 10 October like I said!
Possibly even later, if Astra 2E slows down some more...

Also reported as being at 41.3E, reckon we'll see some testing by midweek.

I suspect you meant 10 October.
 
I chek tle now it move slow to position
will be keep eyes to tle tonight and tomorrow morning
 
Double oops Tivù, corrected the month and sorry for not posting in the other thread, I just followed the herd...that's how it goes.

Solly, you may sleep tonight without worries, unless SES decides to start testing while still approaching 43.5 East.
Not impossible by the way, we all know Astra 2F did during transfer from 43.5 to 28.2 East!

TLE #14 of last night, has Astra 2E near 41.5 East now, and arrival at 43.5 East still on 10 October (in the morning).
 
TLE #16 of last evening, has Astra 2E near 42.3 East now, and arrival at 43.5 East on 10 October, in the evening.

Yep, she's nearly there now, not far to go!!
 
Tracking the speed of this satellite, I have noticed it takes 2.5 hours to cover 1/10th of a degree. so if things stay as they are, estimated docking time at 43.5E should be 16.30 CET. (Thursday)
Are we going to open a book on it !!!

2E has got a nice surprise for you - a dedicated Middle Eastern beam. Should give you loads of Arabic channels we cant get here in western Europe! :D

Probably - they certainly arent going to put the BBC & ITV on the ME beam!
