Astra 2E at 28.2E: General Discussion Part 3

Very poor signal over the last few days over here. Something must have deteriorated and whether is bad propagations, clouds, whatever... doesn't really help me choosing a dish size for my area.

Same here ! Strange how the channel 5's are so much stronger though!

Different satellite.
No !, I was getting the other 2f transponders like c4hd and bbc1 whales hd last week so its not just 2e thats weaker now!

If you used the feed I suggested I'm sure you would get them no problem. Like I said before the bore of your feed does not allow optimum performance at lower frequencies.

Here's a graph of today compared to a month ago.

The problem is no one can find an internet shop anywhere where they sell that Famaval ? I did search! Cant even find a picture !

But the channel 5's on 2f that i receive the best are lower frequencies (10964 H) where as bbc1 whales hd is higher at (11023 H) and in fact all the over 2f frequencies are higher than 10964 H ? Also the 2e frequencies are all lower than the 2f ones ?

or maybe you mean lower power ?

I was reading that lower frequencies travel further which does tie up with my experience here as the c5 transponder is the lowest !
