It has been put up for sale the TBS6908 card here Sale price is 449.99 $
It should be noted that there are two versions of this card:
1.TBS6908-which has support for streams with ACM,VCM,MIS,16/32APSK and Generic Stream,
2.TBS6908B-does not have support for CCM, ACM, VCM.
It is in fact the only difference between the two versions. Can find out more about the two quad on the link above.
I've done tests with the first model-6908.The four tuners receives simultaneously with 4 dvb-s players the signal from four sources/satellites without any problems. The CPU and GPU temperatures were maintained in acceptable limits when the four tuners worked on HD channels.
So far so about this card.

CCM seems to be typo, isn't it?
No, that's your normal (constant) coding modulation that's used in a typical DVB-S/S2 receiver.

Right, that's why CCM can't be in "not supported" list. Otherwise this card support nothing )

OMG, this mistake taken from TBS website ))

Here is what writes on the tbs website at 6908B version,I quote:
"A lite version is the TBS6980B, it's with the same chip set, but without CCM, ACM, VCM support."
I think it's a mistake, but I have taken the information from them.I was supposed to be more careful

A test that may interest some users would be a comparison between TBS6908 card and TBS6983 card with Crazyscan and EBS tools. Those who have TBS6983, have found that this card has an extremely sensitive tuner, and I can say that is the most sensitive of all cards available on the market, and for this reason I wanted to see how it behaves 6908 card when scanning with these tools compared to 6983 card.I don't know if it's conclusive, but I thought to choose a satellite interested only for dx-ers-Telstar 11N at 37.5W.Instead of conclusions, I will post the results of these scans with those two tools.
I want to mention one very important thing:I do not make publicity at one of these cards!
Any other result is welcome.
