Can an Apple TV 2 modded run iPad apps? As I have a load of ip cameras and dvr's.

I can view all of them in 1 app on my iPad and iPhone.

I need 24 hour streams Displayed on a monitor/TV ect?

I have no idea, can´t afford the iPhone and apples grow on trees!, but will e-mail link to my big brother, who may be able to help!

Probably not the answer you wanted, but Don does know computers, software and related systems. His reply....

Currently they have different os - a revamped Apple TV is coming and the word is there will be a Apple TV App Store - but currently there are a few hacks to get bespoke kit to display but no specific app for the cctv/dvr control yet.

Looks like I need to find another way to view all cameras.

I have 2 properties and they have a mix of ipcams and dvr's and cams,

I need to be able to display all cams on one monitor/TV.

I used to use an android box, with a paid app. But since it no longer passed the android test from Google, and it no longer works.

So I now need to find another option.

I can view the cams on my iPhone/iPad no problem. But I need to be able to view it on a monitor due to size of the picture.
 
Yes I tried that. :-( and tried a reflash of the o.s.

Apparently Google changed the authentication certificate.

And blocked the box. (Cheap Chinese box)
 
I have read somewhere that there is a plugin for enigma 2.

I might have to give it a go :-)
 
I used to mess about with apps years ago and get things to work that shouldn't, I have android what's the name of the app please Chris I will have a play and see what I can do.

Please let me know how you get on with E2:)

The app is called ipcam viewer.

It's on the iTunes Store and on the android store.

There is also a free app.
 
I have been able to setup camofs plugin for enigma 2.

But that only shows the ipcams.

So I have a 80% work around atm.
