Belsat giving good signals tonight also :)

Title of this thread should now be Eutelsat 33B as E33A has been de-orbited I believe & is no longer @ 33.1 east.

Fransat Promo has started at 33E in clear HD.

10967 V 6667 4/5 DVB-S2/QPSK "Fransat INFO HD"
1080i

and a copy @ 10975, same parameters. 33B or C though? May well be on the recently moved 33C.

A fair few feeds turn up here Jamie, I am unsure how often you monitor it, but worth keeping a eye on this one :).

I was having a scan for any 3pm feeds as it goes :) I don't scan it that often, but there's often Sky Sport Italy feeds on transponder G2.

Active now
11471 V 3820 3/4 DVB-S2/8PSK "ITA 477 MILANO"
BISS

Ive never found uk footy here Jamie, but footy does turn up Saturday around tea time from memory, cage fighting from Poland turns up Thursday/Friday, that was last year anyhow, good hunting :)

DSCN0915[1].webp It looks like Eutelsat 33C has started @ 33.1 east

Belsat TV
12630 V 2400 3/5
DVB-S2/8PSK
MPEG-2 E-33B

Much stronger signal here now even when it is raining this was not possible a few weeks ago,
Maybe the transmission has moved to Eutelsat-33C ?

New satellite line up for 33.1 east from mid October 2015

Eutelsat 33B >>Eutelsat W5 (ex Eutelsat W1) >> Eutelsat 70A >> Eutelsat 25C >> Eutelsat 33B
Eutelsat 33C >> Eurobird 1 >>> Eutelsat 28A >>> Eutelsat 33C
Eutelsat 33D >> Hot Bird 6 >>> Hot Bird 13A >>> Eutelsat 8 West C

Eutelsat 33B may be deorbited or move to another location when 33D arrives @ 33.1 east

I wouldn't be surprised. 33B suffered a power anomaly some years back leading to four transponders being shut down.

Yes there was a power failure & Eutelsat had to replace the satellite with W2A in 2008 / Eutelsat 10A this satellite also suffered an anomaly when the S-Band antenna failed to open

Then Solaris Mobile, the joint venture set up by Eutelsat and SES Astra, announced that in the course of carrying out tests on its S-band satellite capacity aboard Eutelsat W2A, an anomaly has been detected in its performance.

Then W2M failed as well
2008 to 2009 was not a good time for Eutelsat.
