Don´t start a sentence with And !
Says who? Fowler's Modern English Usage (Oxford Unisersity Press) says it is perfectly acceptable practice. And it is a construction that has been in use since Anglo-Saxon times, and no self appointed grammar policeman or 1960's diktat is going to change that. :-rofl2

Guess it's just where I was dragged up. Went to the Winchester County High School for Girls ( Westgate Comprehensive ) when I went. Turned down the scholarship to Winchester, didn't like the way they spoke!
:-lol

While I await the arrival of the new Dark Motor, would like some thoughts regarding a more wind resistant dish. The Triax 60cm seems pretty good, but I would like to go to a 1.1m / 1.2m dish to pick up more. Anyone have experience of a good dish in a windy environment?

My Laminas has showed no signs of damage due to gales over the last five years or so. Fairly sheltered position though.

With the 110 it's not so much a case of damage, more vibration. The 110 moves so much in the wind it suffers a lot of signal loss. Watching the Paul L golf earlier, one second 9.4db the next nothing due to wind

Looks like a Triax TD88...
I´m hope it is. I look after a black one in Quesada, while I was there the other day to do a re-alignment I realised how good it is. It´s 35mm pole mounted to get above the roof and although smaller than the Fam lh110 gets better reception on the weak signals. Very good dish

There was a 1.8 with a polar mount on ebay last week Brian, the dish was located in Spain unsure of the exact location, it was on for £20 and never got a bid and was relisted, unsure if its still there maybe worth having a look at that price ?

Thanks for the info Martin, but I better give that one a miss for now, need to finish the smaller motor unit first.
On that note, I have put the " Triax " on the motor will go from 45W to 65E and back again. Signals obviously better than the 60cm I had on there, but not quite as good as the LH110, no chance of seeing UK spots with the BU single on it, may try a GI twin as I usually gain about 0.5dB with the twin.
Will probably wait for dark motor to arrive before I do much more, should be here this week.

Have just received a sms and e-mail from SEUR to advise the package arrives tomorrow. They gave me the option to delay for one or two days for no extra charge. Good service!
