Storm Barney is set to hit later on tomorrow with 70-80MPH gusts expected. Batten down them dishes!

It has been raining here, non stop (no exageration) for the past 4 days, day and night, the winds havn't hit yet thanks goodness

Well the rain has kind of stopped here now, it's turned into a really weird kind of wet swirling mist

Picture a wet sauna room but with the moisture swirling around and in reverse (cold) and that's it, even the dog didn't want a walk this morning :D
 
Just nearly did with it tied down :eek:, the gusts are very strong here now, ive had to go out and tie it up better, if it wasn't for the rope it would have gone :(.

Dont worry martin you and others can always watch the Leonid meteor shower tonight ( weather permitting ):D

The 1.2 is taking the full force and its blown the 1.5 round on the pole gap I left it loose purposely, I have a south facing back garden that's great for line of sight but not so great when conditions are like this.

No chance of that Martin, I´ve watched what you build, and I´m sure whoever did the roof would have been supervised, I´d go to your place in a tornado for shelter, let alone a simple storm!

I have no issues with the SH that ive nearly built Brian, but my house roof is not in good shape to start with, i have hip tiles missing from last year :(. at least we can move into the SH if it does :D.
 
i might be able to view it from my bed if the winds carry on, sounds like the roofs going to blow off atm

Our Sky mini dish is just fine at the in-laws :D The 90cm Fibo is probably on the floor at home. Let's hope Barney takes some troublesome trees down to the east, eh..
 
Getting "really" bad here now (south west), mrs new parasol umbrella is ruined, my fault though apparently for not putting it in the shed and worrying about my dishes :-ohcrap
