Gales forecast for Central and Eastern England

Sorry Martin, picture was a little dark, was that the Ferrari or the Lamborghini ? Hope the Rolls is in a safe place:)

Bit windy over here in Bucks but all my dishes are packed up and in the garage at the new house!! Just hope the existing 60cm dish on the chimney of our new house doesn't get ripped off... :o

It's blowing a gale here.Had to park the dishes on 1 West.
I dare not move them.It is going to be a boring night.

Really windy now, but both dishes standing up well, just some occasional breakup on the 1.8..

I for one, am going to shut up now, for at least 10 - 15 mins, out of respect.
Pontiend, how you got your dishes to Baker Street that quick is beyond me. ( Sorry, didn´t have the glasses on, read that as West 1 ):-bighappy

I love my new car:), after driving a 1ltr polo for 2 years then a Peugeot for another two its a pleasure to drive a ford daylight picture of her :)

..... similar to Martin here as only a few miles south of him, she's been chained down from around mid day but come about 4.20pm we started to get really strong gusts so decided to give a bit more anchorage with a good old bit of BT draw rope. Just been outside and stood beside it, 7.10pm, and it's surprisingly stable considering . Mother nature is helping out a bit now by filling the dish ribbing with a bit of water & acting as a counter-balance lol.

I wish mine was up in the air John, probably safer than where is now, its blown it again

John, is that what they mean by "grounding" your dish! ;)

Really nice setup pal.

I'm just looking at my dish from the window and can see it shaking a bit, can't really say I expected it not too though! I have been meaning to get it reinstalled with T brackets (wish I had done it sooner now!)

It's hanging onto dear life with one of these brackets :D Saying that, about half an hour ago I switched on the receiver to make sure it was still receiving a signal and I was actually getting a better SNR than ever before. (usually peak at 78-80 but was getting 82-84)
