Like most of that sat, nothing at all here, not even an intermittent signal, sorry
I'm still having problems with 12226V. I changed the frequency to 12228V and I am now getting occasional bursts of picture and sound. I am getting 9.2db during bursts. I notice the transponder is in mpeg2 whereas the other transponders just above this one are in mpeg 4.12437H coming in fine here (9.4db SNR), as well as 12265H & 12303H (10.3db) as well as the tests on 11261H (9.4db). However not even a sniff of 12226V for whatever reason.

There are a few new ch´s on 12053 H 27500 that I have not picked up before
Normally 5db will get me a picture but on 7 East I really need 6db due to the fec used. 9db is more than ample signal for my system. I wonder of it is extra noise being introduced so low to the horizon. I have actually changed my Invercom for an Inverto quad (quad has shorter drop for clearing Fibo arm) and, although it has had a positive impact on signals generally it fails on this one. Incedently, I am now able to get the Russian channels on 62 East now. Only one radio channel in the clear now but a good 10 dB rather than 6db before changing the lnb.You win some you loose some12226 V 30000 S2 8PSK is the weakest transponder here so maybe the signal is too weak for your current set up ?
88cm dish + SpiderboxHD9900
11262 H 27500 2/3 DVB-S QPSK MPEG-2 = 74% Signal Quality
12226 V 30000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK MPEG-2 = 61% --------------
12265 V 27500 2/3 DVB-S2 QPSK MPEG-4= 77%
12303 V 27500 2/3 DVB-S2 QPSK MPEG-4 = 79%
12437 H 30000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK MPEG-4=71%
Also a factor to take into account is the FEC @ 3/4 on 12226 V 30000 may be contributing to poor fringe reception.
The signal is playing up here now due to rain & the 3/4 fec.
Yes , you are correct, they are Yahsat ( 16 dB ) do have one on 11261 H 27500 at 6.3 dB, so that´s from another bird as well, will look after tea!Are you picking up the ones on Yahsat by any chance (MENA beam - zip here.)
Changing it to 11228V made no difference for me. I suspect the transponder is not at full power along with a higher SNR required due to the use of 8PSK & 3/4 FEC, and as mentioned in your next post the location near the horizon might be a problem - TurkmenAlem has an elevation of only 8.5 degrees from where I am and is just visible above some trees.I'm still having problems with 12226V. Has 11262H been switched off? Im not getting anything here at all now on this frequency.
