Welcome to the forum!
Nice set-up, is that for 28.2E (Freesat, as it says on the box), or do you point at something else?

Hi - nice to see you here.

I suspect that you want to find out more about Sat reception, but it would be very useful about what you want to know as it appears that, with a mini dish and your Manhatten, you are currently probably watching the Free to Air (FTA) channels on Astra 2 (at 28E)?

Edited: the above was posted before the several other posts that clarified your setup and what you are currently watching - so please excuse it being "out of date".

Then, because there are dozens (plus!) of members sat setups shown here, we can try to point you to those that might be the most interesting to you - OTOH, if you just want to "look around" then you could start here: Satellite & Digital TV Support forums

Just give us a bit more info!

But, be warned, it could get "obsessive" and "cost a lot" of time/money/effort :)

John

I think it is now down to you to give us that "bit more info".

PS: click on "More options" and then click both "boxes" to ensure you get automatic notifications for further posts in this thread (took me quite some time to work that out - Admins: please note that as it is not at all "obvious" to the newcomer, and , maybe you could make it more obvious!)

Have you had a browse through the pictures of members setup section?
Pictures of Members' Setups and general satellite
As Mickha and I said, take a look around and then tell us what you think you are interested in (apart from banned subjects like card sharing amongst other!) - otherwise we will have great difficulty in helping you.

I suggest you do that for a day (or so), think about it, and then come back with what you have figured out it is that you are hoping to learn about.

@jeallen01 , the OP only asked what other people's setups are ... why you want to give more than asked ...

@John Pykett , there is a thread around here somewhere called ,, Pictures of members setups '' or similar .

Take your time, my friend.
This is an experimental hobbyist-zone. Things happen when they can...
I have a few bits of gear lying around that I've meant to put up for years.
Something always seem to get in the way, though...

If you want, a first step could be to put another LNB sideloaded onto your existing dish.
(This may not be top-performance, but you should be able to get either 23.5E or even 19.2E, some transponders).
You can either put a DiSEqC switch near the dish, and re-use the cabling you have, or run another couple of meters of coax to your tv, and swap back and forth.
All kit available low-cost on ebay or amazon, or re-use from local sources.

As st1 said, take your time and we will do our best to help.
BTW: I was away from the forum for over a decade, and, now I'm (sort-of!) "back" so it's taking me a lo..ng time to get "up to speed" with "everything! (but everything!) and so - well - take your time :)
