There was supposed to be a "River of Light" on the Mersey this evening. We went along, admittedly towards the end, and I found it a deeply disappointing experience.

If it's on again next year I most certainly shan't be attending in the slightest.

Well there meant to get better towards the end mate, that's normally where the bigger spread ones and higher flying get released, sorry to hear it was a bit of a damp squib mate, this years Halloween parade thing was complete shite compared to last years up here.

Took about 1000 shots with my phone tonight, on 99 shot burst mode, the display was 20 minutes long, as good as last years I'd say, pity about the piss poor Halloween thing for the kids this year though.

Middle daughter has just popped in and, although she's not on Twitter (neither am I), she says that it received a pretty comprehensive drubbing.
