Yes, I saw that too - they can change the shape of the dish in 2F to suit the requirements of the UK broadcaster, so the UK spot beam, will be more of a spot, I'm afraid.
What do you expect living in the bleakest part of God's own country:-rofl2 mate! - I can just about throw a stone through the window of my local exchange, but I do get the BT standard of 8MB just about - when it is working - it is nice on the Bronte moors area though.

I'm not worried, LLF myself:D But the only reason stations went free to air with a spot beam, was because the signal would not be very strong outside the UK - yes, I know there are some pretty big dishes used in some places. Anyway, carry on viewing:)

I've noticed this pixilation on the BBC news channel about 30 mins ago, & according to the signal readings, I'm getting 100% quality & 90% sig strength, I suggest it is an uplink signal problem, perhaps as the changeover will take place tonight & 1N is being tested?
Bob
I'm getting C4 HD Ok, my Sky HD box says 100% signal quality, but 0% signal strength - it is rock solid to watch, but how can it be with those readings?
You would think by now, someone would have invented a refueler & battery replacement service for Birds, they could fly round & do the lot on one mission:-ohcrap
I hope someone will post on here, when I can receive this on a SKY HD box, Thanks in anticipation
EDIT: for those struggling with second rate Bits & bods, I managed to pick this up on a cheapo Skyline HDSR200 with the following settings: (I had to use all of them)
11127V 22000, 2/3, TONE ON...
I assume with a Satellite getting towards the end of it's life & with cell power falling, shutting down some of it's transponders could extend the useful life of it?
