Hi asimmd, If your techno is already patched and you download update from techno site you will loose some channels, you would then have to re-patch your system. Providing you have the patch cable this is quite simple to do, I had this problem and this forum helped me to correct it. kev:)

Hi all. got a slight problem bought a receiver wich was already patched, i am picking sats up from 45e to 45w dont know if receiver already had channels programed in but for eg: 42e comes up with 118 channels but when i do a scan it only find 25 channels. 28.2e has 595 channels but scan finds...
