Cheers Llew.... I've been pricing up various options this afternoon and I'm edging towards getting a Supermount1224/Channel Master 90cm combination. That looks to be the ideal receiver to bring to the party : ) Expensive solution but it will do everything I need and more, plus keeps options...

Just got the dish up, and after spending a week sorting it and getting it perfectly on the arc, a geezer from the council's just knocked on my door and told me 3 neighbours have complained about it. It's a 100cm dish and I purposely put it round the back of the house so it's less obtrusive even...

Cheers CH that makes sense but thanks for confirming:) The "floppy action" is only occuring at each extreme of movement so setting limits slightly before that should cure it. My entire set up is based on cheap bits snaffled mainly from Ebay so it's a case of "It will have to do" at the moment...

Can somebody please explain what 'inclined orbit' means. Is it something to do with the bird moving on and off the arc? If so, is it possible to track this movement in anyway? I'm a complete newbie here, about to set up my 1st motorised system, this forum looks to contain lots of good advice ...
