I have an HD video which has downloaded as a ts file. My DVD player will play almost anything but not ts! So I will need to convert it first to burn it to disc. I have a couple of converters on my pc but what format would be the best to convert it to without losing too much of the original quality?

OK I think I follow that. Will have to try it. But say for example I want to record just part of a programme, i.e 30 mins from the middle of a 2 hour prog.....how does the EPG 'sort' that? As a better example of what i'm asking. Take a VCR to do the same thing. Simple. Prog start time...

Only installed yesterday and set up. Professional aerial fitter did all the connections and tuning after fitting dish. The Freesat channels all work fine and I know how to switch between Humax, DVD player/rec, or Freeview via existing analogue aerial. What I am struggling with is what procedure...

I have a Humax Foxsat HDR and still very new to all this (less than 48hrs to be exact!) Question; Once a programme has been saved to the hard drive in my Humax, how do I go about burning that programme on to a blank dvd disc in my recorder? Simple enough doing the same thing on my pc....done...
