Try choosing "ALL" not "FTA". I know, this will also scan the encrypted channels but it will at least tell us if the box is able to find something and save it.

    Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra

With that receiver I had to set up a LNB with 11250. (manually put it in with the remote in the antenna LNB set up - not the TP set up). Worth a try, you alway can change it back. I am learning that your satellite equipment are a bit differant over in Europe. It is a neat receiver but I have...

    Fortecstar. Ultimate problem/Ultra explanation

I would first bypass the positioner motor and hook up directly to the LNB. Have it aimed to a satellite then do a power scan with "all". This will take a little while but it does a complete sweep of the satellite and will find all possible transponders and what is on them. Before this is done...

It is vertical to receive/transmit on a vertical plane. The can "focuses" only towards the dish. The...

Good site! I belong to several North American forums about Satellite reception and this site seems to be alot more respectful to others. (or maybe my bashing day will come soon). Glad to be a member! ---just wanted to give feedback from what I observed with this forum.

No, Think of it like what women think of men and manhood............... "The bigger The better". Actually the larger dish diameter will get you greater distance. Other factors need to be addressed. A formula is used to calculate how far in front of the dish on where the element is placed. it is...
