The current Foxsat HDR is getting on a bit now. No 3D or 1080p support. Does anyone know if an updated version is being planned, please? I have also read something about new chip technology for satellite receivers - anyone know the name please? I did but have lost my note. Thanks

Thanks Guys - I did not think there would be. Panasonic TV's can receive both, but their Recorders only do one or the other. Just wanted to see if I could get rid of the VCR if I purchased a PVR. Clearly not. "Yesterday" is another Freeview only channel. I'm not paying Sky just to get it...

Thanks. I'll try that next time it occurs. I have decided I can live with it, as I can see TV using the other Tuning menu. The Satellite dishi manual says rain can have an effect, although I don't see why just one menu disappears, but that's life. Panasonic say there is no known issue...

Thanks for the two comments. Currently my Sat Antenna has a twin LNB and I have two cables. One feeding Freesat TV directly and the other to separate Sat. Receiver, so I can record (via VCR) one channel whilst watching another. So looks like I need a Quad LNB and a third cable into the room...

Thanks for all the suggestions. It seems to have been dodgy cable. So Rolfw was right - connection problem. I put a new cable in from antenna to receiver and things came back to life.
